It all began with love
Sunday Beauty was founded to share the love, care, and confidence that I was lucky enough to be raised with.
My story begins with my grandmother, an immigrant from Mexico, a single mother, and a beauty queen crowned in Santa Barbara in the early 1960s. She was elegant, strong, and proud. She taught her daughters and granddaughters not just how to care for their skin, but how to carry themselves with confidence and grace, no matter what the world handed them.
My mother followed in her footsteps — also a single mother, full of strength and softness. She made sure not only to uplift me, but to uplift every woman around us. Her kindness was expansive, her encouragement constant, and her belief in the beauty of others unwavering.
Together, they showed me that beauty isn’t just skin deep — it’s in the way we nurture ourselves and each other. It’s in the rituals, the stories, the shared moments of care passed down from hand to hand.
I chose the name Sunday Beauty because Sunday is the universal day of rest and reset — a sacred pause in the week where we breathe deeper, move slower, and come back to ourselves. That’s the energy I want to create for every client: a space that feels calm, restorative, and deeply rooted in care.
Sunday Beauty is my way of honoring their legacy. A love letter to the women who raised me, and to the community I now serve. Here, beauty is comfort. It’s ritual. It’s empowerment. And it’s yours.
Thank You.
